That’s where monoprinting — making a one-off print—with either a Gelli or an acrylic plate comes in.
This technique is so much fun and is often referred to as a mono-printing madness! Past participants just run-a-muck with colour and pattern leaving the studio salivating at what they have produced in a short session.
When: Sunday 20 October | 12.30pm – 3.30pm
Where: Campbelltown Arthouse at Brookside Cellars Community Arts
Cost: $75.00 plus booking fee
In this workshop, you’ll craft your own personalised cover which will be hand-bound to form your very own notebook or journal, resulting in a one-of-a-kind ‘possible’ gift if you can part with it.

Monoprinting is a form of printmaking that allows you to create unique, free-form printed images every time. This allows you to produce abstract compositions, more complex details, and traced contour images. Monoprinting is a quick process that gets results much quicker than other printmaking techniques.
We work with gelli printing plates which are soft, reusable plates for transferring your work to paper with hand pressure. They are a very easy and mess-free way of making monoprints and work especially well with open Acrylic ink.
