Weekly Lino Classes in Houghton, Adelaide Hills

Each Saturday morning in Houghton, nestled in the base of the Adelaide Hills, I open my Ingleside Studios for relief or lino printmaking classes. Bookings are essential. Informal small group setting. Come once, or come when you can.

Step into Sally’s Ingleside Studio at Houghton every Saturday morning and let your creativity run wild!

Use the beautiful Adelaide Hills as your muse. Right on my doorstep you will be treated with nature and green spaces.

Whether you’re up for a laid-back creative experiment or you’re diving into a passion project that’s been brewing, we’ve got you covered over a series of weeks.

Maybe you are looking for something fun to do with a friend.

These sessions aren’t just about art, they’re about having a blast while mastering the art of lino or relief printmaking. Oh, and coffee!

You’ve got options, my friend! Grab a spot for a single class or level up with a multi-pack class pass that saves you some dough. Some creatives come fortnightly, some monthly and others each week.

Together we dive into the exciting world of relief printmaking. And guess what? You don’t need to be the next Picasso to jump in. No artistic skills are required – just a burning curiosity to learn the magic of creation.

First-timer? No worries! We’ll kick off your journey with a 10cm x 10cm Silkcut lino block for you to carve to your heart’s content. Plus, you’ll have all the fancy carving tools and vibrant Speedball water-soluble inks at your disposal. And when it’s time to bring your masterpiece to life, our Enjay presses are ready and waiting.

Hang tight though – these classes are intimate. We’re capping it at only six participants, so you’ll get all the attention you deserve.

Let’s create, laugh, and make some art together – join us for a great morning!
