Print Exchange 2023: Laura O’Loughlin

Laura O’Loughlin is a visual artist based in Limerick City in the Southwest of Ireland, whose practice includes printmaking, photography, blackout poetry, gouache painting and collage. Wanting to create a work for this exchange that was representative of her home, Laura chose to create this hand-coloured relief print of a Foxglove. Foxgloves, or Lus Mór as they are known as Gaeilge, are a native Irish wildflower and can be found in hedgerows, woodlands, and mountainous areas all around the island of Ireland.

Laura is an active member of Limerick Printmakers and Spacecraft Artists Studio, Limerick.
