Biography

Eirini Fokas graduated from the National Art School in 1999 and completed a Diploma in Graphic Design in 2010 at the Enmore Design Centre. As an artist, I experiment with repetition.

I am particularly interested in layering floral motifs to create large scale Endangered Botanica Wall papers for public spaces. These wallpapers are designed by selecting various threatened Sydney flora which are then carved out of linoleum. This traditional printmaking method allows for multiple motifs to be produced quickly which are artistically put together to create stylised wallpapers for outdoor spaces.
