Print Exchange 2023: Mary Shoemaker

Working primarily with screenprinting and clay monoprinting, Mary Shoemaker lives in the US, 40 miles west of Chicago. I like that plants, animals, and other natural phenomenon often present an abstract view when observed at close range. This Norfolk Island Pine was viewed looking up through the branches in the Ancient Garden at San Francisco’s Botanical Gardens.
