Biography

I am a self-taught printmaker. I studied Art A-level but then chose the more ‘sensible’ career path of Speech and Language Therapy. Printmaking started as a hobby in my early 40s, and I knew instantly that my art form had finally found me. Before I knew it, my prints were selling and I was teaching printmaking alongside my day job.

I specialise in linocut, but I occasionally delve into drypoint, monoprints, collographs and letterpress. I don’t think I will ever stop tinkering with different printmaking techniques! I make small, thoughtful prints which are often based on the beautiful English county of Kent where I live. I love teaching people of all ages and abilities, and my dream is to make printmaking accessible for people with additional needs.
