Print Exchange 2026: Therese Kavanagh

Therese is an artist and printmaker based in Limerick in the south-west of Ireland. Having studied at Limerick School of Art & Design in the 1990s she found her way back to art in recent years having been captivated by the mindful methodical process of linocut. Originally creating prints as a hobby to distract during a stressful period in her life she has recently branched out into selling her work and exhibiting with a local art collective. She is inspired by native wildlife, nature, Irish mythology and occasionally the odd quirky animal that pops into her head.
