Print Exchange 2026: Peta Paduano

Printmaking has become a voyage of discovery for me, continually pushing the boundaries of my skills, imagination, and visual language. After six years of exploring a wide range of artistic practices, including extensive experimentation with gel plate printing, I found a sense of focus through relief printing. As a beginner printmaker, I fell in love with the slow, hands on rhythm of carving and inking, and the moment of anticipation when the paper is lifted from the lino. Relief printing allows me to embrace a perfectly imperfect mindset, finding joy in process rather than outcome. The use of chine collé introduces delicacy and contrast, layering fragile papers against bold printed marks and enriching each image.
