Print Exchange 2026: Larissa MacFarlane

I am a proud Disabled Scottish-Australian artist/activist from Naarm, Melbourne, living on the stolen lands of the Kulin nation. My artwork often explores Disability identity, culture, pride and justice, using printmaking as well as community and street art.    This work is inspired by my youngest cat, Starman, who is the 17th cat I have shared a home with. Starman is fascinated by water – he likes to jump in the shower with me, thinks he can help me with the dishes, and when we go on long walks, he has to inspect every drain. He even walks into stranger’s homes, and apparently tries to get in the shower with them too! I don’t have a sprinkler system but I am sure that Starman would love one!
