Print Exchange 2026: Jess Pickert

My art practice is a bit all over the place as I struggle sticking to one lane, but I try not to hate on myself too much about that anymore and just embrace the chaos. I love drawing, coloured pencils, chalk pastels, watercolour painting, polymer clay… but also right up there is printmaking. I minored in printmaking at UniSA over a decade ago and fell head over heels in love with it. It has taken me way too long to work up the nerve to start printing again since uni, but I have finally got there, and am never looking back. Bunnies, mice and just general whimsy are common themes in my art, but again I am all over the place in regards to themes too. For better or worse, I love to do a bit of everything!
