Print Exchange 2026: Amber Rademacher-Nota

Carving is my happy place. I love to bring the pictures in my mind to paper, and lose myself in carving my linos. Working with my hands brings me peace, and in making linoprints, I’ve found a medium in which I enjoy every step of the way. From planning an image to repetitively preparing a stack of paper to be printed on, from carving and printing to the lovely view of a row of prints hanging out to dry, I absolutely adore it. The thing that ties my art together is the unexpected. Whether it’s a pop of color in an abstract piece, or a pop of cheeky little mouse in a field of tulips, it doesn’t have to be big, just a small thing that invites you to stop and smile.
