Print Exchange 2025: Suzanne Lyle

As an artist, I find inspiration in the beauty of our local beach, particularly in the graceful movements of stingrays as they glide through the water while feeding. My work employs relief printmaking to capture these moments. Through my artistic process, I strive to convey the tranquility and fluidity of the ocean, reflecting both its serenity, the life it nurtures and a sense of calm.. My print is an exploration of movement and harmony, offering a glimpse into the underwater world that often goes unnoticed. I aim to evoke a sense of peace and connection to nature, encouraging people to appreciate the delicate balance of life beneath the waters surface. My artistic influences are drawn from the rhythms of the ocean and the interplay of light and shadow on water, and the magnificent animals that make it their home.
