Print Exchange 2025: Hilary Warren

I am a Canberra-based printmaker specialising in Photopolymer Photogravure. I use my own photographic images to create etched plates using this technique. My work focuses primarily on images from nature.

My intaglio prints have achieved recognition in the Waterhouse Natural Science Art Prize, the Muswellbrook Art Prize and the Michael Beazer Works on Paper Prize (2024), the Hazelhurst Art on Paper Award (2023), the Goulburn Art Award, the Swan Hill Print and Drawing Acquisitive Awards (2022), the Stanthorpe Art Prize and Stanthorpe Photography Awards (2020, 2021) and the Peebles Print Prize (2019, 2021).
