Print Exchange 2025: Greg Stone

The theme of this year’s exchange instantly brought the lyrics to the country song “Tennessee Whiskey” originally recorded by David Allan Coe in 1981 and since covered countless times by other legends like George Jones and Chris Stapleton. For the print I chose to hand draw some typography based on old wood type and reproduce it as a screenprint in colors that brought to mind fresh strawberries, farmer’s market posters, and general sweetness. Printed on bubblegum paper.
