Print Exchange 2024: Rose Chapman-Hill

The wonderful world of printing making has taken Rose on a journey of discovery as she creates hand-pulled prints that often relate to the bush, ocean and country regions in which she has lived in Western Australia.  With an illustrative, whimsical style she tells stories and reflects on her own life and observations of life around her.  Predominately working in lino relief printing Rose enjoys the therapeutic process of carving and seeing the image appearing, taking on a life of its own, and then the surprise of the first print.
