Print Exchange 2023: Wayne Longhurst

A self-taught lino cut artist, Wayne first learnt about the medium back in 2012. Living in the Sussex Downs national park and near to the seaside, a lot of his work is inspired by what he sees around him on his travels around the county, and further afield. Always wishing to challenge himself, he’s constantly on the lookout for the next print which will push his boundaries even further. That may involve limiting the colour palate or increasing/decreasing the size or layers of the print but still maximising the detail in the end result
