Print Exchange 2023: Mark Lord

Founded in 2019 Lino Lord creates affordable and hand-printed lino prints for people to enjoy in their homes and work spaces. Professional photographer of 23 years Mark Lord was craving to find an artisanal craft to learn and bought himself a basic lino kit. A quieter time of photography during the pandemic gave Mark the opportunity to keep carving and printing and Lino Lord flourished during this time. Inspired by his home county of Cornwall and it’s rich coastal heritage Mark can be found carving many a rowing boat or coastal scene, Mark also finds inspiration in the everyday objects around us making the ordinary look extraordinary with some retro chic thrown into the mix. Mark loves the more analogue process of lino printing or carving, inking and printing by hand and then selling his wares at various artisan markets in and around Oxfordshire and Cornwall.
