Print Exchange 2023: Laura Wallis

Laura is a multidisciplinary artist who specialises in pencil work. She explores merging themes of fantasy and the living world; wanting us to feel nostalgic for the fairy tales we were told in our younger years. Inspired by nature, Laura is currently striving to translate her illustration into relief printing. Through this, she aims to capture a moment in time and create whimsy in a world where people are so often fixated on the mundane; seeking to reconnect her audience with simple joys such as the flowers we walk by as we are staring at our phones.
