Print Exchange 2023: Karen Fletcher

Having lived in remote indigenous homelands and now in Darwin, my linocut designs are inspired by the extraordinarily rich natural environment of the Northern Territory. Incorporating Yolŋu Matha language names, each print is a process of love beginning with designing and hand-carving each block before printing onto beautiful papers and fabrics. I am thankful to be living, working and creating on Larrakia land.
