Print Exchange 2023: Caitlynn Buckler

I am a printmaker that enjoys exploring one’s relationship to belief and religion. I enjoy commenting on a lot of the hypocrisies of western religion while simultaneously using nature as a theme to communicate these ideas but also using nature as something more worth one’s dedication and belief than popular religions. At the moment I am particularly enjoying exploring the idea that birds—though simple creatures—may be better worth one’s time and worship than an unjust god that is often idolized in mainstream religion.
