Print Exchange 2025: Emily Tyman

Emily Tyman is a printmaker based in the Finger Lakes region of New York State. She went to school for painting and took some courses that made her fall in love with printmaking. At the start of the pandemic, she started to teach herself block printing and hasn’t stopped since. She is inspired by children’s book illustrations and is influenced by her memories, grief, and the formative years of girlhood.
