Biography
I chose to carve and print a snake because snakes just seem cool to me, and the kind I chose to print reminded me of my old science teacher’s snake that she used to bring into school, which got me into snakes in the first place. This animal stood out as an animal with attitude because of how snakes always appear to be smiling to themselves while slithering around. During this unit, I learned how multiple colours are made in lino prints (though I didn’t try it myself) and how to carve safely using the tools provided. I think my carvings were overall successful since they came out the way I wanted them to, and I didn’t experience any difficulties while making any of my prints.
