Biography

I’m an artist based in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia, where I draw inspiration from the natural surroundings and a love of all things vintage, whimsical, and botanical. My work is centred around lino carving, a process that has become both a creative outlet and a deeply personal practice. For me, carving is a form of mindfulness. Each mark I make slows me down and brings a sense of focus and calm. There’s something incredibly satisfying about the rhythm of carving, and I’m always chasing that feeling of anticipation as the piece comes together. The moment of printing—seeing the final result revealed—is what truly excites me, and it’s what keeps me coming back again and again. What makes this journey even more special is the community I share it with. I’m lucky to spend time with a wonderful group of fellow artists in the studio, where we carve, create, and inspire each other. That connection, alongside the joy of the process itself, is what makes lino carving such an important and addictive part of my life.
