Print Exchange 2026: Kat Parker

The interactions between different birds in my garden in northern Victoria can be fascinating and amusing. ‘Avian Angst’ is inspired by some of the residents of my garden and their big personalities. Magpies, ravens, red wattlebirds and new holland honeyeaters all think they own the place. Sometimes these birds are content to ignore the others’ existence, but occasionally they decide the other birds should not be there and cause a fuss. The background of this print is inspired by grevillea leaves; a plant in my garden, which the wattlebirds and honeyeaters adore.
