Print Exchange 2026: Avylon Magarey

I’m an artist based in the Barossa Valley of South Australia. I studied Visual Arts at the University of South Australia, with a focus on jewellery design and printmaking. My passion for art extends beyond my own practice, and I’m committed to sharing the joy of creativity with young people. I have previously been Vice President of the Visual Arts Teachers of SA Association, where I’ve been privileged to work with arts practitioners and engage our young people in the Visual Arts. I have been involved in multiple group and solo exhibitions, including the South Australian Living Artists (SALA) Festival, and my work has also been part of the Barossa Vintage Festival Art Prize. I’m currently a member of the Barossa Art Gallery and Gifts Collective based in Angaston, which regularly hosts pop-up markets at the Botanic Gardens in Adelaide.
